PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  

 

In developing the project program for Impact Church there were three ministry tenets that are foundational to the church and their facility needs.

Tenet 1. “Sunday Worship experience is the anchor to the church”

Tenet 2. “Youth and Children are a great priority”
Tenet 3. “Ministry should allow for various outreach ministry purposes”

From these tenets W+P Architecture and Impact Church explored the physical needs but more importantly how this facility will impact the community it serves. The space requirements developed from our programming efforts included the following:
 

Tenet 1
• Large outdoor drop-off/ canopy area.
• Large fellowship space (Lobby).
• 600 seat sanctuary and stage that included room for an 8-10 person praise team.
• Baptismal with changing rooms.
• Greenroom with restroom.
• Storage
• Audio/ Visual/ Lighting booth.
 

Tenet 2
• Two large classrooms (existing building).
• Outdoor multi-purpose space.
• Awana Square.
• Nursery/preschool rooms (existing building).
• Multi-purpose rooms for older youth.
• Future 10,000 sq. ft. second floor classroom space.
 

Tenet 3
• Two multi-purpose rooms for adult education, community training, organization and delivery of feeding programs to the community.
• Commercial Kitchen to support feeding programs to the community.
• Outdoor multi-purpose space for community activities
• Versatile staging space used for the storage and staging of clothes, non perishable food
and other community needs for future use and distribution.
• Outdoor community and church amphitheater for entertainment and worship.
 

The above program and related imagery has provided Impact Church a vision for planning and future growth.
